Ne-Yo ft. Fabolous: I have been jamming to two new songs ALL day, and this is one of them. This is that hotness! I’m always interested as to why artists release songs after their album debuts. I am referring to Year of the Gentleman and maybe this did not make the cut, or maybe Ne-Yo and Fabolous recently recorded the track. Whichever the reason, the track definitely puts Fabolous back on the radar which is good since he has a new album releasing in February 2009. Loso’s Way, based on Carlito’s Way, is Fabolous’ fifth studio album and will follow the format of Jay Z’s American Gangster. There are supposed to be a couple top notch featured guests on the album like Kanye and Ne-Yo….that’s about it. Everybody else I have never heard of and need to look up i.e. Red Café, Asia Cruise, Freck Billionare, and Paul Cain.

Cassie & Fabolous: Ryan Leslie is one of the best kept secrets! His self titled album is expected to release on October 21st and you can bet that I will have an advance copy of this! This particular song has been out for a while, but being that I LOVE Ryan Lelie’s production, I had to support him by posting this newly released video. Jaslene from America’s Next Top Model is featured in the video and makes like the video even more. Surprisingly, Cassie is not in the video. Not really sure of the reasoning behind her lack of appearance and I find it suspect because Cassie is not in the original version of the video either. Hmmm…After listening to the track a few times, I realized the track samples Michael Jackson’s I Can’t Help It. MJ has to be the most sampled artist in history!?!

This is the official remix and I can not wait until I listen to this album! I received a copy of Year of the Gentleman a few days ago but I have not had time to really listen like I want to. I have been waiting on this one for a while and I am sure you have also! Soon as I jam to every track I will be sure to give my two cents that will inform you to ‘cop this album’.
